Box of 10 Bacon & Egg with Onion Relish Sourdough Doughnuts

I’m so thrilled with how popular our savoury doughnuts have been with our customer base since launching a few months ago.

Most were a little dubious it has to be said but sales have been exceptional. Our bacon and egg version out sells ANY sweet flavour every week!!

We’ve had a few flavours including slow-cooked beef, corned beef, cured ham, smoked salmon, garlic and lemon cream cheese, and salami-based doughnuts, but on Saturday we’ve got the TOP SELLER. It’s a classic Kiwi combo in bacon and egg.

Our savoury doughnuts have a totally savoury sourdough base which is slowly fermented to achieve greater texture and flavour.  They’re filled with fried seasoned eggs, aioli, streaky bacon, sweet & sour onion relish, and topped with toasted sesame seeds and a little dabble of Dijon mustard.

Believe it or not THIS FLAVOUR OUTSELLS ANY SWEET FLAVOUR AT ALL EVENTS WHICH IT HAS BEEN SOLD AT…….Incredible!!!!

Our doughnuts are slowly fermented with a sourdough starter base making for a super soft slightly chewy texture and formidable flavour profile.
