A real festive dish, and very popular last week, that we had no choice but to put back on the menu this week. This biryani will have a slightly different curry base than last week’s. Our biryani has layers of long-grain, specialised biryani basmati rice, meat curry, dried fruit, salted cashew nuts, boiled eggs, saffron, spices, curry leaves and coriander baked with turmeric, fried shallots and chilli. It’s such a full-flavoured dish often served as a festive dish in some Asian countries. The biryani is served mildly and comes with a side of minted yoghurt and a sourdough garlic buttered flatbread.
This dish is served in a 900ml container.
